Description
A Site Engineer in the solar renewable energy field oversees and manages the installation of solar projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within scheduled timeline. They work with various teams to deliver projects to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage on-site solar project installations, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and feasibility studies for new solar projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions related to solar PV systems.
- Prepare and review project documentation, technical reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma and B. Tech
Skills
Core Skills:
- Proficiency reviewing solar panel layouts and electrical schematics.
- Strong understanding of Solar PV Systems, including their design, installation, and maintenance.
- Excellent Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Experience with Project Planning, including creating project timelines.
- Ability to provide Technical Support and resolve technical issues related to solar installations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently at site and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
